PROJECT OVERVIEW
PROJECT OVERVIEW

This visual approach captures the brand’s essence without relying on literal symbols. Instead, it weaves familiarity into form, allowing the identity to speak through shape and rhythm. The basket grounds the mark in purpose, while the flowing letterforms convey approachability and efficiency all essential to a trusted supermarket.

The Challenge
The Challenge

The challenge was to craft a logo that captured the everyday essence of a grocery market — but without leaning on the obvious. It needed to feel familiar yet fresh, rooted in function but layered with meaning. The task? Embedding the letters SLPM the initials of Sri Lalitha Prime Mart into a form that subtly echoed the grocery experience.

WHAT WE DID
WHAT WE DID

The solution came in the shape of a basket, a universal symbol of shopping, filled with movement and rhythm. Within that, the SL letterform was shaped to resemble a trolley, reinforcing the flow and function of a store in motion. What looked simple on the surface was a carefully balanced composition — blending typography and symbolism to build a mark that felt both local and intentional. A logo that carries the spirit of the market, not through direct cues, but through quiet design storytelling.
